I confess that i’m not really a fan of Cara Delevingne. But obviously, like every other human being, i say i don’t like her now but at the same time, if she’s in a movie, you watch that movie right? While i didn’t create this look specifically with her in mind, by the time i was done there was simply no denying that “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” was made for her. There are so many shots of her all over the internet leaving and arriving places that it’s not hard to imagine her donning this ensemble while dodging the paps after a night out at a concert.
Over the years of being in the spotlight, Cara D. has seamlessly incorporated the bomber jacket into her everyday wardrobe while donning one for every occasion in a range of different styles. There’s her sulkily running errands in it, her furtively talking on her phone in a funky printed one, another one with her looking creepy and high af in it paired with Timberlands, one where she’s modeling it all pretty and chic and then there’s one where she does not GAF about looking good at all. Since khaki green has been making all the rounds lately, i thought this would be perfect because idk catching a Kanye concert with her besties just seems like such a Cara thing to do.
In this day and age, Balmain is practically synonymous with the Social Supermodels that swarm around the brand and designer alike. While the Kardashian clan tends to lean onto the brand for more of their high fashion events, i feel like Cara would be cool with just pulling off the more laidback pieces such as this statement logo sleeveless tee.
But let’s be honest, almost every item in this set screams “statement” from the leggings up to that heavy gold chain necklace.
Fan or no fan of Cara D., there’s no shying away from the fact that she’s definitely got more than enough personality to get away with wearing whatever the hell she wants.
